John Adams has been committed to athletics through roles as an athlete and captain, coach of multiple teams, and a certified strength coach. Growing up, John Adams played any sport he could get his hands on and then played football, hockey, and lacrosse at the Loomis Chaffee School. After high school, John attended Bates College, where he played lacrosse and captained the team during his senior year. John’s love for Nordic skiing started while he was living and working at the Dublin School. With beautiful John Morton trails, colleagues with extensive Nordic experience, and students always interested in getting out on the trails at Dublin, John found himself in an amazing place to ski and did so almost every day in the winter for the past 3 years. John moved to Cambridge in the summer of 2015 and now teaches math and coaches Nordic skiing and lacrosse at the Rivers School.
